Learn MoreCarrboro’s warm, humid seasons and long pollen cycle can clog mesh, stress fasteners, and drive homeowners to upgrade from standard fiberglass to tougher options. We install and replace insect screening on porches, patios, windows, and doors using quality mesh choices like fiberglass 18x16, aluminum 18x16, pet-resistant vinyl-coated polyester, and solar screen fabrics when glare and heat are part of the problem.
Our work accounts for the details that matter in this area, including tight spline fit, straight screen tension, and corrosion-resistant hardware that holds up through wet springs and hot summers. For porches and screen rooms, we can rebuild worn sections, replace warped framing members, and add kick plates or reinforced lower panels to reduce damage from kids, pets, and yard traffic.
Expect a straightforward process, first we confirm your openings and take measurements, then provide a free written estimate with mesh type, frame or track condition notes, and a realistic timeline. On install day we protect adjacent surfaces, remove old screen and spline, prep channels, then re-screen with the correct spline diameter and consistent tension so panels lay flat and stay secure.
You get clean edges, snug corners, properly seated spline, and doors that close smoothly with aligned hinges, closers, and latches. We can also handle screen door re-screens, sliding patio screen repairs (rollers, tracks, handles), and small punch-list items that help your porch or entry stay bug-tight and ready for daily use.
